Great location right downtown, walkable to several thrift stores as well as restaurants and other shops. The hotel has a lower level parking area as well as an upper level parking area for one side of the building and you can also park on the street for the other side. The hotel also has a bar facing the main street and a simple continental breakfast. The room itself has been redone. This is an older building, however, that being said, the room and decorations and usage of wood panels behind the very large flat screen television as well as behind the bed really make the room have a modern feel to it. There are also ceiling height cabinets for hanging clothes and interior drawers inside those cabinets on both sides of the bed. Nice touch! Along one of the walls there are also lower cabinets below a coffee maker and ice bucket, microwave and refrigerator. There is a full mirror which is quite modern and has a built-in magnifying circle. The bathroom is simple yet updated and modern. Lot of space and storage in this room. This was a king room I stayed in and it was very comfortable. The staff greeted me and welcomed me when I arrived. They explained about the Wi-Fi and the breakfast and I felt at home. Definitely would stay there again. Went to a local restaurant and bar to get a takeaway salad and also visited two thrift stores. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

Rooms have been totally remodeled with modern features (flooring, bathroom tiling, tub, fixtures, lighted mirror, indirect lighting over the bed, raised counter sink). My room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, microwave and fridge worked very well, the breakfast was nice, and you have a choice between quick continental breakfast or ordering a full one. External noise from other rooms was not noticeable, intermittent noise from other tenants along the exterior walkway but not really a bother. I liked the layout of the check in concierge desk co-located in a single contained rectangular space with bar/breakfast area surrounded on the outside with stool or table seating...very contemporary. Local eateries are within easy walking distance too since this hotel is just a block off Main Street. I realize the hotel is still in transition and more improvements are on the way, so this is a good start for a 60+ year-old hotel! I would like to try this hotel again to see what new changes have been made.

We stayed in Room 111 on 10/4/2024 - $140.88/night. Super cute courtyard property and totally refurbished. Great closets and storage. Soaker tub! Roku! Bathroom fan timer. Microwave, fridge, coffee and a bottle of water. Literal metal ice bucket. Excellent WiFi. We didn’t want to leave. There were USB ports and outlets in the nightstands. Unfortunately, the nightstand nearest the door only worked if the light was on. The tub drained well and water was hot, but the shower pressure could have been stronger. We could have used a couple more pillows, and a tub mat for the super slick tub. The property has a bar and restaurant as well. Grade A.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bathroom was great the tub was so big I soaked in it for a long time, it was nice and deep too! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The provided breakfast was good and fresh (bacon, eggs, bagels & cream cheese, various yogurts, different breads for toasting, apple and orange juice, different coffees and bottled water). Was located in downtown and easy walking to many different restaurants, bars, and attractions. We walked to a local recommended pizza place! If you ask they have a list of recommended restaurants that are nearby.

The downstairs bar/lounge/restaurant area was very attractive. Service was excellent, they were very accommodating and willing to go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and tended to. The room was newly remodeled, so there was an elegant yet rustic Western charm to it. The upper-level parking area was helpful and seemed pretty secure. The tub was very deep, which I loved.
